Sucralose is an artificial sweetener and was originally sold under the trade name Splenda. It is now also supplied by a variety of manufacturers and brands. Sucralose is approximately 600 times as sweet as sucrose (table sugar) so manufacturers can use less of it to achieve the same sweetness level.
